Trade in my Canon 50mm f1.4 for a Canon 85mm f1.8, went for a test drive of lens, overall the lens is fast focusing, weight is light, wide open a bit soft, from f2 onward is sharp. But due to my fault, i forgot to check carefully and found a small patch of coating scratches on the mount lens element when i got back. Hope to get it change back instead.

Lens test on Canon 300mm f4L IS
Great range and weight with a 2-stop IS.
Lovely bokeh and sharp at wide open.
Sadly i had to return it due to some contact error between the lens and body, now im attracted to telelens, ^ ^
